Solution:
Q1: There were 6 tables
First they painted all tables and 5 chairs. The second day they painted
7 chairs and no tables. So from this the number of chairs are 7 + 5 =
12 Hence the number of tables = total - number of chairs = 18 - 12 = 6

Solution:
Q1: 6 tables
6 tables is the answer. There are 5 painted chairs and 7 unpainted chairs.
I know that there are 5+7=12 chairs. Total tables and chairs are 18. So
18 takeaway 12 is 6. 6 tables.
