Solution:
Q1: $ 1.25
Q2: $ 3.25
Q3: none
I THOUGHT IF IT WAS 4.00 THE CRAYON'S WOULD BE 3.00 $ THE NOTEBOOK
WOULD BE 1.00 BUT THERE WAS A 50 CENT'S INN IT AND I KNEW THAT
WHEN I TAKE AWAY THE NOTEBOOK'S COST FROM THE CRAYON'S COST IT
WOULD HAVE TO EQUAL 2.00, SO I KNEW THAT THE LAST 2 NUMBERS WOULD
HAVE TO BE THE SAME,(SO THAT WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEY WOULD EQUAL
ZERO) BUT I THOUGHT THAT 50 CENTS COULDEN'T BE DIVIDED SINCE 5
WAS A ODD NUMBER , THEN I REMEMBERED THAT 50 COULD BE DIVIDED
SINCE IT WAS BIGGER THEN 5 , WHEN I DIVIDED IT THE ANSWER WAS
25 SO I THOUGHT MAYBE I COULD TRY TO SEE IF IT COULD WORK AND
IT DID.

Solution:
Q1: The notebook cost $1.25.
Q2: The crayons cost $3.25.
Since the crayons cost $2.00 more than the notebook I came up
to $1.25 not $1.00 because it said that Jerry used $4.50 to buy
both the items. So it couldn't be $1.00. I did $3.50 because $4.50-$1.25=$3.25.
About me: I like to play with my friends and family.

I did the problem solving stategy "Guess and check." You are supposed
to guess the answer and then check if your answer is right. But
make an educated guess. That means that if your answer is really
far away, then guess a bigger or smaller number. If the answer
is close, or very close, don't guess a number that is a lot bigger
then that number.
