What’s in the BRC?
- The BRC consists of 12 Units each containing 9 or 10 learning sessions
(LS1, LS2 etc.). By the end of the course your child will learn 70
different phonic structures and consonant blends, and over 1000 words.
- New words are introduced in the first LS (LS1) of each Unit and
then practiced through games and worksheets in the other LSs. The
last LS is an interactive story with questions and answers at the
end.
- Through BRC interactive games and colorful worksheets, a child
can practice and gain both reading and writing skills.

Why is learning with BRC fun
and stress-free?
- The BRC is made up of kid-friendly learning sessions. It takes a
child approximately 15-30 minutes to do one LS.
- Doing one LS a day will give you peace of mind that your child
is either keeping up or going ahead of her or his class in reading
and writing.
- Learning with BRC is fun because each LS is different! Each LS has
a different game and worksheets. Your child will love learning this
way!
- Once your child gets used to the games and colorful worksheets,
he or she will be able to work on his or her own, with a minimum of
parental help.
How To Use the BRC
The Beginning Readers Course consists of 12 Units, each subdivided
into nine or ten kid-friendly learning sessions.
An LS has an interactive game and several printable worksheets.
There is a lot of flexibility in how you can use this course.
- You may work on one LS for a couple of days or do two LSs in one
day. The only important thing is to work continuously and regularly,
be it every day or a couple of times a week.
- Do the learning sessions in order! They are designed to gradually
lead your child from getting acquainted with new words in the first
learning session (LS1) to using and recognizing these words in sentences
and stories in the subsequent learning sessions.
- Move to the next learning session whenever you feel that your child
is ready. The BRC keeps score for learning sessions LS2 through LS9.
When your child achieves a passable score for a particular LS, your
child’s personal page will indicate it.
